The DreamWriter c200 is the latest addition to our growing family of educational products. It comes complete with built-in disk drive and a 16-line back lit screen that's twice the size of our regular screens.

The flip-top design, like its predecessors, features full wordprocessing and direct printing capabilities, a spell checker, calculator, organiser, PCMCIA memory card port, and much more. Everything you need in an affordable, portable package.

The DreamWriter® c200 from NTS is much more than an "electronic typewriter". Students need a full featured word processor that gives them a finished document - formatted, spell checked, stored for editing, and able to print directly just as it appears on the screen. They also want a unit that will be durable enough for knapsacks, lightweight and have a sufficient battery life to last all day. The DreamWriter® does all this and more.

The DreamWriter® is easy to learn with a colour coded keyboard and corresponding menu bar directing users to advanced functions such as cut/copy/paste; spell check and thesaurus; setting tabs and indents to name a few. Timing software that is part of the Almena® Keyboard Training System comes built-in, displaying a student's speed and accuracy.

Schools use the DreamWriter not only as a device to teach keyboarding and to provide word processing capabilities for their students, but also as a tool for learning about computers. The DreamWriter supports the student's learning and simplifies the transition to high-end computers by combining a standard QWERTY sized keyboard with an icon based menu and follows standard file naming conventions for storing and recalling files.

DreamLink is provided to facilitate the learning of uploading documents to both Macintosh's and Windows PC's via a single cable. By learning the concepts of how a file can be imported into several applications, the student is establishing the foundation for more advanced desk top applications. The DreamWriter 200 has a hinged screen for easy viewing.
